The project MAMBA, which develops solutions for the mobility in the areas affected by demographic changes, is about to reach its midterm. The time of the most intensive work of the project MAMBA has already begun. The Danish harbour town Vejle was the host for the 5th international meeting of the project MAMBA to discuss the progress of the activities.

During the meeting in Vejle, the project partners exchanged their experiences, coordinated tasks, planned the future activities and pilot actions. The mixed teams analysed jointly the concepts of mobility centres and other pilot actions.

On the third day, during the international seminar  on mobility in rural areas, inspiring mobility solutions were presented by Danish municipalities, public companies and private startups. During the second part of the seminar, focus groups worked on the improvement of processes of implementation of the innovative mobility solutions and on the processes of communication with local communities.

The programme of the seminar is available on the page of the project:

Within the project, the Regional Development Agency Bielsko-Biała (Poland) cooperates among others with District Bielski. Jointly, we implement innovative solutions to improve the local and regional public transport in the area of Bielsko-Biała.

The project MAMBA is co-funded by the European Commission within the programme Interreg BSR. More information about the project can be found on the website of the project:
